Beer Glassware (Glassware)

Most like to have a nice cold beer after a long day at work or on a hot summer day by the pool or maybe when you are cooking out with friends. There are many reasons to have a nice cold beer in hand, but how do you to drink yours? Do you have beer glassware that you like to use when drinking your beer of choice? Many people take beer as seriously as posh wine tasters in France treat their wine. Beer advocates will be the first to tell you that a double-walled, thermal plastic mug from the freezer is the worst beer glassware you could ever choose to serve beer in. They are adamant about the proper beer glassware to use.

Looks are Everything

There is nothing more tempting than that golden liquid captured in a glass, small champagne-like bubbles rising through the amber to a creamy-white mountain cap of foam. Beads of sweat prove the icy, chilled temperature of the drink you re about to savour. Having the right beer glassware is definitely a plus to get these results. Its about being able to see what you re being served.

Respect Your Lager

It is best to buy real glass for serving your beer, and quality glass at that. After all, your beer deserves that much respect, doesn t it? Don t just go out and buy the first set of beer glassware you see. Beers come in all sorts of colors and flavors, and there s a glass to match with each type of beer. Belgium experts have a different glass for each brand of beer. There are flutes and snifters, goblets and mug. It will depend on what type of beer you like to drink and knowing what to buy. There are special glasses for different brands of beer and different shapes for tasting purposes.

Unfortunately, there are too many different types of beer glassware and beers that should be married to the containers to be listed in this article. A quick Internet search on beer glassware can provide you with links to websites that will explain which beers are best for which glasses. This way you will know what beers to drink out of what beer glassware. When you know this then you can easily buy the glassware you need for your bar. Then all you have to do is enjoy your favorite beer any time of the week.

Crisa 16-Piece Impressions Glassware Set

Crisa 16-Piece Impressions Glassware Set Libbey's Impressions glasses have definite drink appeal. Let's start with their girth. The glasses have ample openings, so ice snuggles down nicely to provide lots of chilling surface for drinks. When it's time to give them a wash, a hand, sponge, or dishtowel fits easily, which is important when you want to present sparkling clean glassware to your guests; the glasses also do well in the dishwasher. Their heavy bottoms have a nice heft so they won't tip easily and give the impression that they were handblown. Four rounded depressions just above the base fit fingertips and make these glasses comfortable to hold. The two sizes in this dandy set accommodate just about any liquid out there: you can offer lucky guests everything from highballs to lemonade to bloody marys. This is the ideal glassware set for a bride and groom. –C. Whitney-Ward
Customer Review: Disappointed
I agree that these glasses are great looking and easy to hold BUT they are fragile. We had one break the first time through the dishwasher (assumed it was our fault) then about a month later one broke in the dishwasher BEFORE we even ran it. Same kind of break as the first one. I am so disappointed because I love them otherwise but I am taking them back . . I need glasses that can stand up to everyday wear AND wash!
Customer Review: Fragile but still I love them
I agree with most of you that these glasses are a bit fragile(not much though). We have been using them for our daily use for last 2 years and always wash them in dishwasher but still have a few of them left around. They look beautiful and are priced reasonably. We love these glasses so much that we are again looking for the same ones.
