Wrinkles - How To Prevent Wrinkles
Those small wrinkles, also called laugh lines and crows feet, appear on your face as you age. We all want that smooth, sexy skin and do all that we can to prevent these lines from appearing. This is no easy task unless you never go out in the sun, avoid all areas of stress and are not exposed to any pollution and, of course, you must never laugh. While this is unrealistic, there are some easier precautions that you can take to minimize the effects.
Though wrinkles tend to get formed on all part of one's body, it is the ones that appear over exposed parts like face, neckline, forearms etc that are of greater concern. Normally we pay greater attention to face, but as summer approaches, the rush to shop for swimming wear does reflect our inherent faults. Yet it may be lot easier to keep the skin healthy if we use sunscreen lotions and avoid yo-yo kind of dieting that leads to periods of weight gain and weight loss.
With growing age, the fat tissues beneath the skin start breaking down, causing the skin to lose its elasticity. And over the years, our skin which could easily regain its composure after getting stretched during course of normal actions like laughing or making faces, loses this ability resulting in the formation of wrinkles. It is true that the adverse impact of time and nature on our skin cannot be stopped, yet there are no reasons to let ourselves surrendered and lose our fight against aging.
If you know someone who is a fervent sun worshiper or you are yourself, you know what effect this can have on the skin. Wrinkles will appear more prominently on these sun worshipers, smokers and people who have gained a lost weight at a fast rate.
One fundamental guideline of skin care is to always ensure good nourishment for the skin. For this it is essential to have a properly balanced daily diet comprising of essential vitamins, minerals and other vital elements. According to several dermatological studies, a diet lacking in Vitamin C and crucial fatty acid like linoleic acid, an Omega-6 fatty acid available in flower oils, leads to premature skin aging, atrophy and profuse amount of wrinkles. Similarly, fats and carbohydrates rich diets produce negative and adverse impact on the appearance of our skin.
No matter how careful you are, sweat, dirt and pollution will get into your pores. Be careful in your selection of facial cleansers to fit your unique skin type. Any facial cleanser with fantastic claims of making you look younger will only damage your face if it is not what you need and may even increase the wrinkles on your face.
Make sure to look at all the ingredients in your facial cleanser. Of course, if you are allergic to anything, do not use that product. All those unpronounceable ingredients in your cleanser are confusing. Do some checking out online as to what these ingredients actually are and how they will affect your skin. You do not want to risk getting cancer from these ingredients in exchange for helping get rid of wrinkles. More natural and organic products are becoming popular and may be gentler to your sensitive facial skin.
Above all, being sensible remains the best method to ensure a healthy skin and keep it free from wrinkles. It is true that we may not have any way to deal with our bad genes or inherent susceptibility to sun exposure, yet there are some easier steps like proper and full understanding of product ingredients before using them or simpler ways like wearing a hat while roaming on the beaches, that could help us greatly in maintaining a healthy and youthful skin appearance.
