This is a phenomenal price for an electric kettle. The lid doesn't seat so tightly, and it doesn't feel terribly robust, but for the cost, this will make tea and instant coffee in your office, dorm or home. We even heat up spagetti boiling water in it to speed it along the way (pouring it into the spaghetti pot to get a head start.)

These are great for college because many dorms don't serve breakfast. You can make instant oatmeal any time of day. At this price, almost any student can afford one.
