Pest Control Pellet Guns Recommended To Control Addicts
This writer once lived in the woods of England alone with my dog. We weren t entirely removed from civilization, especially the darker parts of it. I learned where and how to live in the woods by mimicking homeless people, some of which were drug and/or alcohol addicts. Very rarely did a day go by where I wasn t confronted by an addict who wanted money or something he or she could sell to buy drugs or beer. At the time, I had to wield a machete and sick my dog on them. What I wouldn t have given for pest control pellet guns.
What Is It?
A pest control pellet gun doesn t shoot bullets, but tiny little plastic beads at an extremely high speed. They are also called air guns. Pest control pellet guns are legal in England, but very difficult to get a hold of. They are legal to use for hunting animals and birds. You can only get a hold of pest control pellet guns or any kind of air gun that shoots up to 6 pounds of air pressure. Anything over is considered a firearm.
In America, pest control pellet guns are considered kids toys. You can get them at any Kmart. They are completely legal and do not need to be licensed. Having a gun in the home for self protection is more dangerous to you and your family than to any intruder you may encounter. But a pest control pellet gun gives you no legal entanglements whatsoever.
Pest control pellet guns were originally used for killing crows, magpies, rabbits, squirrels and other pests . But these pests are most welcome to may suburbanites and urban dwellers today. It s the addicts who are the real pests. They go through your home, your trash, your person to find anything worth stealing. Believe me, you are doing them a favor by shooting them.
Shooting Tactics
If at all possible, NEVER shoot an addict at point blank range. That could kill him, and then you are in jail. Usually only the sight of a pest control pellet gun aimed at them will send them scampering. You don t even have to load the gun. Talking like a maniac will help you, too. If they think you are crazy enough to kill them over hubcaps or a BBQ grill, they might just get scared and flee.
If you have to shoot, wait until they are at least ten feet away. That way they get a nasty sting, but nothing requiring police attention. Addicts won t go to the hospital anyway. Why spend any money patching up a wound when you can spend it on drugs or beer? You will most likely not be able to shoot them, for they will often arouse your pity. Shoot their feet instead.
